Job Description:
Aon is Looking for a Proposal Project Manager. As part of an
industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our
clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions within Aon
Risk Solutions. The Proposal Project Manager will lead, plan,
develop, produce, and deliver proposal and presentation
deliverables required by client solicitations (Request for
Proposals); and be able to provide hands-on management of the
entire full-cycle project development processes, including but not
limited to: identification of development of outlines, completion
of writing assignments, supervising time lines, editing, and
ensuring compliance with the Aon brand. The project manager is
encouraged to assist in achieving national goals for new business
and client retention via execution of the core responsibilities of
the position; which focus on responding to offensive (new business)
and defensive (retention / jeopardy) requests for proposal (RFPs)
and presentations. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for leading
proposals and presentations, often partnering with senior leaders.
Coordinate and lead proposal meetings ensuring a response strategy
is established and implemented Partner with the lead designer to
ensure proposals and presentations are visually impactful Work with
consultants and subject matter experts to develop customized
content Continue to develop a practical and solid understanding of
Aon's risk services Lead presentation brainstorming and development
sessions May occasionally be tasked to serve as the presentation
expert on the firm's large opportunities, occasionally traveling to
mentor teams in-person on winning strategies (this may include
nationwide travel) Primarily works independently to resolve methods
and procedures of projects. Experience: 5+ years professional work
experience in bid management required; insurance and brokerage
proven experience strongly preferred Demonstrable background in the
development of custom strategic content (demonstrating critical
messaging/value propositions) and strong editing skills required
Ability to lead multiple bids simultaneously in a fast-paced
environment, meeting all deadlines Experience with crafting oral
presentation deliverables, partnering with a designer and the
account team Ability to learn quickly and show flexibility to adapt
in a growing group, working both independently and with a team
mentality (required) Demonstrates good judgment in selecting
methods and techniques for acquiring solutions Solid understanding
of Proposal Management Software (SharePoint, Qvidian, etc.)
strongly preferred Intermediate Word, PowerPoint and Excel
knowledge required Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent years

this position is $60,000-$90,000 annually. This salary range is an
estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's
education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal
equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be
