Short- and Long-Term Disability Tuition reimbursement Career growth and development planningWhat you will be doing:Under the supervision of a nurse, a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides basic nursing assistance and assists residents with daily living activities.Essential functions: Answers nurse call system to determine resident needs Assists residents with dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care Obtains food trays and assists residents with eating Assists residents with range of motion exercises, and movement to/from wheelchair or activity areas Assists resident with turning and positioning in bed Assists resident with ambulation as indicated in the facility Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed Documents ADLs, resident personal cares, and device use on flow sheets or task sheets as directed Demonstrates critical thinking skills Effective organizational and time management skills Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality Ability to work closely and professionally with others Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards Valid CPR certification preferredWhat we need from you: High school diploma or equivalent required Valid certificate in the state employed 1 year of long-term care preferred, but not requiredCOVID-19 considerations All staff members are required to wear a KN95 mask in the facility
