This opportunity completes clinical chart and abstraction review as
a primary responsibility, with follow up calls to patients, which
is also rewarding. Meeting with your Physician Champion,
collaborating with other team members, and partner with other
Centers of Excellence, Quality, and Infection Prevention to build
relationships across our Health Care System. This is an excellent
position for the RN looking to expand their knowledge and
expertise, as well as affording opportunity to participate and
collaborate with other professionals and leaders helping to improve
patient outcomes and increasing their own skills. Sign On Bonus
Responsibilities
- Possesses and applies competent/solid working knowledge of
subject matter; typically handles more complex issues and applies
independent decision making; deals with long-term/bigger-picture
goals and objectives; independent in leading multi-department;
typically facilitates teams composed of one or more departments,
service line or site based.
- Coordinates performance improvement initiatives and leads teams
in performance improvement activities using PI tools and techniques
and applying nursing practice, skills, concepts, and/or
methodologies.
- Assists staff and leaders with data analysis to identify
meaningful performance improvement opportunities, measure
performance, and establish measurable performance goals.
- Collaborates with medical staff, employees, leaders, and teams
to test, implement, and sustain successful improvements.
- Applies performance improvement science, tools, and techniques
to moderately complex issues and problems. Escalates more complex
issues to department leadership.
- Works with teams, trains and coaches medical staff, employees,
and leaders in the application of improvement science to
problems.
- Is actively involved in improvement efforts that impact quality
and patient safety, particularly those that support system
strategic initiatives.
- Participates in professional development opportunities to
enhance subject matter expertise in improvement science, tools, and
techniques.
- Participates in evaluation and prioritization of projects, and
accepts assignments based on organization and department need.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Education: BSN
- Experience: 2 years additional relevant experience.
- Licenses/Certifications: RN license in Idaho. Why St. Luke's A
