• Certification Details
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Surgical patients, Medical and cardiopulmonary- CHF, COPD, pneumonia, psych, dementia, COVID, etc.

  • Job Details
  • Hospital in Idaho is looking for 2 RN's to start ASAP for 13 weeks in their Float Pool.
  • Primarily working Medical/Surgical but must also float to other areas as needed.
    • Job Requirements
    • Must have experience with post op surgical patients.
    • Must have 1 year of experience.
    • Okay with first time traveler but would like first time traveler to have more than 1 year of experience.
      • Schedule Information
      • Shifts & Scheduling: 12 hours, 7-7.
      • No self-scheduling, will try to work with requests.
      • Weekend Requirement: Yes- if there is a need.
      • Holiday Requirement: Yes- if there is a need.
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit: MedSurg Magic Valley - Flr 2
        • Number of Beds: 36
        • Nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit: CNAs 1:8
        • RT Equipment: CPAP. BiPAP and High flow will be transferred to IMCU or ICU.
        • No tele/monitor techs- Prefer RNs to read and interpret, if unable charge or resource can read.
        • Charge Nurse on each shift: Charge nurse and resource nurse available on unit. Plus House wide med/surg Crisis nurse. Charge does not take assignments.
        • Floating Requirements: Yes to other MedSurg floors.
        • Scrub Color/Dress Code/Scrubs provided: Navy Blue and we do not provide uniforms.
        • Orientation: General orientation and 1 shift on the unit.
          • Additional Details
          • This facility has a radius rule of 50 miles.
          • To ensure adherence to this rule, candidates' perm address in the submittal must confirm they are outside of that specified radius before proceeding with the profile review.
