qualified OR RN in Twin Falls, Idaho, 83301! Pay Information $2,286
per week About The Position Job Title: Operating Room Registered
Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Surgical
Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours
Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Required
Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Previous travel experience,
preferably 1.5 - 2 years in the operating room. Description:
Department includes a total of 10 operating rooms. Average number
of cases per day ranges from 30 to 40. Common cases include a
variety of surgical procedures from pediatric to geriatric
patients. Orthopedic procedures involve total joints, ORIF, and
arthroscopies, among others. General surgery encompasses robotics,
appendectomies, and cholecystectomies. Urology includes
ureteroscopies, cystoscopies, and robotic prostatectomies.
Gynecological surgeries feature robotics, hysterectomies, and
D&Cs. Vascular procedures involve fistula creations, declots,
and endovascular stent placements. Spine cases include laminae and
fusions for thoracic and lumbar areas. Podiatry and ENT procedures
include various surgeries for children and adults. No scrubbing
required for registered nurses. Charge RNs are present during day
shifts. OR technicians including CSTs and orderlies assist with
room turnover. Charting is performed using an electronic medical
record system. Shift scheduling includes options for 4 ten-hour
shifts or 3 twelve-hour shifts. On-call requirements include
weeknights and weekends to cover PTO. Response time for call is 30
minutes. Floating to a nearby surgery center is required. Scrubs
are provided, and specific footwear is required for all staff.
Orientation includes department-specific training with an educator
