Department for a travel nursing job in Twin Falls, Idaho. Job

expectations. Facility Layout & Capacity Total Beds : 25 (2.5
zones) Triage Rooms : 3 Trauma Bays : 3 Fast Track Area : 4 rooms
(perpendicular to ER, used as Fast Track when needed) Additional
Facilities : Hazmat shower and flood tent for mass casualty events
Pediatric Care : 10-bed inpatient unit; higher acuity cases
transferred out Psych Rooms : 2 designated "safer" rooms (can flex
throughout ER) Patient Flow & Holds Average Daily Volume : ~109
patients/day ER Hold Times : Average : 90 minutes from admission
order to transfer Max : 4–8 hours (mostly for Peds and Psych)
Security & Support Staff Security : In-house and located in ER 24/7
RT : Available 24/7; manages ABGs, breathing treatments, vents
Pharmacist : Present 12 hours daily (~9AM–9PM); designated to the
ER Phlebotomy : Available 24/7 (RNs expected to draw during IV
starts) Staffing & Ratios RN:Patient Ratio : 1:4 Zone Staffing Goal
: 3 RNs 1 CNA per 8-room zone CNAs : 1 per zone; float to assist
across ER as needed Duties: EKGs, provider support, general
assistance Charge Nurse : 1 per shift; may take assignment (esp. at
night) Providers : 1–4 Physicians PAs/NPs (no dedicated Peds
physician) Certifications (Required) Mandatory : BLS, ACLS, PALS,
TNCC Preferred : ENPC, Epic experience Experience Requirements Must
Have : 1 year ER experience Trauma exposure (MVAs, GSWs, stabbings,
etc.) Triage experience Preferred : Trauma Bay experience Epic EMR
experience (must note if none) Traveler Requirement : No first-time
travelers; minimum 2–3 successful prior assignments Common
Diagnoses Abdominal pain, Diabetes, Hypertension STEMIs, NSTEMIs,
Stroke Prioritized trauma cases Clinical Skills & Equipment
Critical Drips : Must be able to titrate all critical gtts
Procedural Sedation : Required for both adult and pediatric
patients Special Equipment : CPAP, BiPAP, Airvo/Optiflow, Vents
Blood products via rapid infuser Drip tubing knowledge (e.g.,
filters) required Monitoring : No monitor techs — RNs must read and
interpret their own telemetry Brand of telemetry monitors: [Not
