How you'll contribute - Proficient in assessing patient conditions and making timely determinations of patient needs. - Implements leadership and team coordination by supervising nursing staff, delegating tasks effectively, and ensuring smooth unit operations by providing direct support to all staff members. - Clear, compassionate communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. - Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record. - Facilitate and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards through engagement and support of PI and other initiatives. - Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. What we are looking for - Current Nevada State RN license - Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school. - Basic Life Support certification is required within 14 days of hire. - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required within 30 days of hire. - A minimum of (3) years RN experience in an acute hospital setting More about Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital is a 75-bed facility located in Elko, Nevada.
