Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Twin Falls, ID Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,632 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Twin Falls, Idaho, 83301! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN (Registered Nurse) Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Labor and Delivery License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS ACLS NRP AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience Some postpartum experience Comfortable working in both Labor and Delivery and Postpartum Ability to work with high-risk patients Ability to circulate in c-sections Preferred experience in a similar size Labor and Delivery and Postpartum department Experience with Epic preferred Description: The unit has 11 Labor and Delivery rooms that double as triage rooms. There are 2 C-section suites and 2 PACU recovery bays available on the floor. Typically, there are 2 designated triage rooms where 4-5 triage patients are seen per day that go home. There are 17 postpartum beds available. The unit averages 5-6 deliveries per day and 150-180 deliveries per month. Staff follows AWHONN staffing guidelines: 1:1 for intrapartum, 1:1-3 for antepartum, and 1:3-4 for postpartum. RNs are responsible for titrating drips including Pitocin, Magnesium, and Insulin; training on insulin gtt will be provided. The charge nurse does not take patient assignments unless absolutely necessary. There is additional staffing support from a Resource Nurse. Nurse aides and surgical techs are in-house 24/7. Obstetricians are present during the day on weekdays and are on-call at night. Neonatology coverage is available during the day with APP support at night. CRNAs are in-house 24/7 for anesthesia. Respiratory therapists are available 24/7 to manage equipment and provide treatments as needed. Tele techs are present in the unit, and RNs should be able to identify rhythm changes and basic life-threatening rhythms. The Electronic Fetal Monitoring System utilized is Epic-CPN, GE Connect. The schedule is made 6 weeks in advance and may include block scheduling, but flexibility is required to help fill gaps. Weekend requirements include working every other weekend, with specific shifts outlined. Travelers may be called off if necessary and may be floater throughout the facility if needed. RNs must wear navy blue scrubs. The unit has a level 3 NICU supporting babies 30 weeks. The resource nurse assists with triage, deliveries, and staff support without taking a patient assignment unless necessary.
