Job Description Job Description Position Summary: Under the direction of the General Manger the Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the casino to ensure exceptional guest service, regulatory compliance, and efficient departmental performance. This role ensures all operational functions run smoothly while supporting company goals, maintaining high standards, and fostering a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities: · Oversee day-to-day operations across the Casino floor, Hotel, F&B outlets, and all supporting departments. · Ensure slots, Cage, Hotel front desk, h=Housekeeping, and Maintenance teams are operating efficiently and meeting property standards. · Conduct property walk-throughs throughout the day to identify operational needs, safety concerns, cleanliness issues, and service opportunities. · Maintain open communication between all departments to support a seamless guest experience. · Ensure all guests receive exceptional service aligned with Stockmen ’s service standards. · Address escalated guest concerns with professionalism and urgency to reduce dissatisfaction and encourage return visits. · Support guest-engagement initiatives, promotions, and special events on the casino floor. · Ensure full compliance with Gaming regulations, property internal controls, safety protocols, and company policies. · Collaborate with Security and Surveillance to uphold a safe gaming environment and protect property assets. · Assist with Gaming board audits, property inspections, and compliance reviews. · Lead, coach, and support supervisors and staff across multiple operational departments. · Promote a culture of teamwork, communication, accountability, and professionalism. · Assist in training, scheduling, corrective actions, and performance evaluations when needed. · Review daily and weekly operational reports; identify trends and recommend improvements to increase revenue or reduce costs. · Support planning and execution of Casino promotions, entertainment events, and Hotel/F&B initiatives. · Respond quickly to property issues, operational disruptions, guest escalations, or staffing challenges. · Make informed, timely decisions that maintain operational flow and protect the property’s reputation and assets. · Act as Manager-on-Duty during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth operations across the entire property. · Keep lines of communication open. · Fill in for vacant shifts as needed, working graveyards and holidays as needed. · Other duties as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must manage time effectively with minimum supervision. 2. Ability to communicate effectively with guest(s), co-workers and management, in English, both in written and verbal form. 3. Ability to make quick judgment decisions. 4. Requires adherence to all company and department policies and procedures as well as all the Company’s Practices. 5. Must be able to handle a flexible schedule. 6. Ability to work with the desired level of detailed service and attentiveness. 10. Excellent organizational skills. 11. Must possess strong teamwork skills as well as to act independently in high-energy, diverse environment. 12. Management or supervisory experience in casino, hospitality, or high-volume operations preferred. 13. Strong understanding of casino operations, including gaming compliance and internal controls. 14. Needs to be proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word and Excel. RELATED DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Working closely with front line team members from all departments. 2. Prior experience in this position is preferred but not required 3. Speaking, visualizing and listening to team members and guests are an extremely important part of the Operations Manager’s job description. WORK CONDITIONS: Can be indoor and/or outdoor beverage service. Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and smoky. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3-ft. access. Tasks performed from a non-sitting position. Team members will be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull and grasp. Able to lift 50lbs. These tasks include the maintenance and care of an assigned area. Work entails chemical usage. Constant contact with staff and customer. Shift assignments may be irregular, and will cover days, nights, weekends and holidays.
