Deliver stone products as requested to locations specified. This position requires you are good at driving in the mountains and on dirt roads. Driving is primarily local with limited overnight travel. Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery trucks.
Must have a current CDL A license
Duties

• Follow route and time schedule specified by dispatcher/coordinator/manager.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair fleet equipment.
• Complete logs and reports and time cards as required.
• Perform maintenance-related work as required.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a driving record with no traffic violations. Supervisor and Co-worker Interactions
  • Ask for feedback from supervisors and address requests.
  • Maintain a positive, friendly, professional attitude with staff and customers.
  • Be part of and promote a positive work atmosphere: promote the company, support your co-workers (never ""pass the buck""), always speak positively of customers. Give coworker critique or feedback in a constructive manner and privately. Be willing to do what is needed to accomplish the job. Yard Duties
    • Must have a current CDL A license
    • Load pallets, and stack rock in a safe and careful manner.
    • Acquire the training necessary to safely drive equipment others in the yard use, like forklifts and loaders. Operate forklifts and tractors in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
    • Operate only equipment you have been trained on according to standard safe operating practices.
    • Assist staff as needed, while all doing other assigned tasks.
    • Cut stone with saws if requested.
    • Know the organization of the yard.
    • Follow instructions from your supervisor to determine which of these duties takes priority, or whether there's a scheduled time for their completion. "
