Medication Technician, you will: be primarily responsible for
administering or assisting in the administration of medication and
treatments in accordance with a resident's health care provider's
orders. Also, you will be responsible for assisting residents with
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of
Daily Living (iADLs), providing general supervision, and respecting
residents' rights and needs of choice.What you'll do
here:Administer or assist in the administration of medication or
treatments prescribed by a resident's health care provider and
completes the medication administration record (MAR)Coordinate
transmittal of physician orders between prescriber and pharmacy and
notify community leadership of issues regarding medication
administrationObserve resident responses to treatment and
medication and be aware of medication interactions and side
effectsMaintain an accurate count of all medications including
controlled substances and assist in the auditing of medication
countsEnsure the organization and tidiness of the medication supply
area and associated equipmentDocument and notify the community
leadership team of any changes of resident's physical conditions
and behaviors in accordance with Enlivant policies and
proceduresAssist residents with ADLs and iADLs including but not
limited to bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, transferring,
and eating according to each resident's individual care plan and
task sheetsFollow Enlivant reporting guidelines involving resident
abuse, neglect, exploitation, and other incidentsPerform other
duties as assignedWe'd love to talk if:You have a High School
Diploma (or equivalent) or 1 - 2 years of experience in assisted
living or long-term careYou meet, have, or are eligible to obtain
all applicable state requirements and certificationsYou have basic
written and oral English communication skillsYou care about serving
seniorsBonus points if:You are a Certified Nursing Assistant (or
assisted living equivalent)You have Medication Administration
training/certification per state requirementsYou have 3 - 6 months
of related experience and/or training in direct personal careYou
have experience interacting with individuals diagnosed with
dementia and Alzheimer's diseasePay Range: $18 - $19 / hour, based
